In the exhilarating season of international triathlon, Australia shone brightly at the 2023 World Triathlon Age-Group Championships, leaving an indelible mark on the global stage.

From the picturesque streets of Pontevedra to the challenging terrains of Zofingen, Hamburg’s vibrant heart, and the scenic landscapes of Ibiza, Team Australia athletes showcased unmatched determination and skill across various disciplines.

A total of seven Australian Age Group World Champions were crowned, while an impressive 20 podium finishes highlighted the teams outstanding achievements.

2023 World Triathlon Age-Group Championships

The 2023 World Triathlon Age-Group Championships were held in Pontevedra from September 22 to 24, with 88 talented Team Australia athletes showcasing their skills in the Standard Distance Triathlon, Standard Distance Aquabike, and Super Sprint Triathlon events.

2023 World Triathlon Powerman Long Distance Duathlon Championships 

The 2023 World Triathlon Powerman Long Distance Duathlon Championships were held in Zofingen, Switzerland . Among the participants, seven Australians tackled a daunting course comprising a relentless 10km run, followed by a demanding 150km cycle, and culminating in a final 30km run.

2023 World Triathlon Age-Group Sprint & Relay Championships

In the heart of Hamburg the global triathlon community congregated for the highly anticipated 2023 World Triathlon Age-Group Sprint & Relay Championships from July 15 to 16. A formidable team of 68 Australian age group athletes navigated the challenging course, leaving an indelible mark on the event.

2023 World Triathlon Age-Group Multisport Championships 

The scenic island of Ibiza became the epicentre of multisport as athletes from across the globe gathered for the prestigious 2023 World Triathlon Age-Group Multisport Championships. From 5 – 7 May, the Australian team of 79 age group athletes took to the start line across a lineup of disciplines, battling athletes from 59 other nations for World Championship honours.
