Upcoming NSW Female Finish Lines Not Finish Times Events

Since it’s inception in 2019/2020, over 3,000 brand new female participants have been introduced to the sport of triathlon through this program.

New memberships sold, new friendships formed, and lifelong memories created.

From simple beginnings in pilot phase with 11 clubs taking part back in 2019, the concept has grown and expanded to include pre-event training programs, education sessions and skills development, all delivered by the clubs and AUS Triathlon accredited coaches. All designed to reduce barriers and promote inclusive sport experiences for women and girls, thanks to the NSW Office of Sport Her Sport’s Her Sport Her Way Grant Program.

It’s been so successful that the program was recently recognised by the Office of Sport at their ‘Showstopper’ event. Only eight stand-out programs from around NSW State Sporting Organizations were profiled at the event. We were thrilled and honoured that ours was as well.

22 triathlon clubs across NSW have received funding to host women’s only events throughout 2023 and 2024.

We encourage all current members to spread the word to their family, friends and colleagues about an event date and location that suits them, because it is a barrier-free way to experience our great sport!

A big thank you to all our clubs and their volunteers for the time and effort they have put into making this program a success. Some clubs have already hosted their Finish Lines Not Finish Times event for this season and they have done so with enthusiasm and professionalism!
