Taking place on the iconic St Kilda Beach, the Victorian Long Course State Championships was incorporated into the IRONMAN 70.3 Melbourne on 12 November 2023.
Challenging conditions that resulted in a shortened swim, saw athletes from around the state given the perfect opportunity to gain valuable State Series points and contend for the coveted Age Group titles.
With a stellar professional field, the event was one to remember and cemented IRONMAN 70.3 Melbourne’s place in the annual calendar. Jasmine Brown took out the overall female age group win in a blistering 4hr 03min as well as being crowned the 20-24 Female State Champion. Thomas Page raced his way into 2nd Place overall in the male age group and took the 20-24 Male State Champion title with a 3hr 41mins.
