AusTriathlon is delighted to announce the finalists for the 2024 AusTriathlon Awards, including the Technical and Coaching awards.
Finalists have been named for the John Ison Award, Rob George Award, Age Group Coach of the Year, Pathways Coach of the Year, and High Performance Coach Award.
Award winners will be announced at an awards presentation at the QT Gold Coast on 8 December 2024.
In addition to the Technical and Coaching awards, AusTriathlon will celebrate outstanding achievements with the presentation of Athlete Awards, including:
- Individual Performance of the Year
- Individual Para Triathlon Performance of the Year
- Athletes’ Athletes of the Year
- Chris Hewitt Emerging Athlete
The evening will also honour contributions to the sport with awards for:
- Legend of the Sport
- Service to the Sport
- President’s Special Recognition
The night will be capped off by AusTriathlon Hall of Fame inductions, honouring individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to the sport of triathlon in Australia.
John Ison Award
The John Ison Award for Technical Official of the Year is presented annually in recognition of the significant contribution of a Technical Official to sport of triathlon in Australia and internationally.
